Landing final

What it is

A heading, a sentence, a button and the line for people who already have an account. It is the only centred block on the page: centring a column of arguments would cost the left edge every one of them is read from, and centring a single sentence and a single button is what an ending looks like.

It left the shell on 2026-08-16, by the precedent this product already set. The shell holds the bands that are a FILL. Pricing left it on the day it became a fill plus a picture, with the note that a fill and a fill-plus-a-picture had stopped being the same object; this band became the same kind of object on the same grounds. It is also the only order that works, because the shell is imported after every organism: a band rule left there could not be corrected from here at any specificity short of an argument.

The founder, 2026-08-16: "давай теперь делать очень красиво ... надо добавить картинку фон". The picture is a horizon - still water under a pale sky in the light theme, the same water at dusk in the dark one, in loose watercolour. It is a different motif from the pricing band's mist on purpose: the same palette and the same hand, but a page that ends on the picture it already showed reads as a page that ran out of ideas, and a horizon is what an ending looks like.

And the ask uncovered a desync. The lead was not centred, in the one centred block on the page. .lp-lead is the hero's lead and carries a measure of about 525px with no margins, because in the hero it stands in a left-aligned column and needs none. Dropped into a centred block it kept its box at the left edge: measured at 1440, the sentence sat from 120 to 645 inside a wrap running 80 to 1360, so it read as a paragraph pushed off to one side under a centred heading. The grey has carried margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto on it since the wireframes, so this was a rollout desync and not a decision. The fix is the host positioning the atom it hosts, which is the only thing a host may do to one.

Anatomy

• .lp-final the band: centred text, the page ground, and past the tablet point a background-color with --wash-final over it. The colour is under the picture in every use, so the band has a ground before the picture loads and keeps it if the picture never does
• .lp-final > .lp-wrap the wrap IS the sheet, which is why this costs no markup on either corpus: it is already the element that carries this block's measure, and a sheet is a measure with paper under it. --container-column, the system radius, and the one elevation
• the fade one gradient layer over the picture, at the FOOT only, taking the last 120px to --bg-surface

Limits

The second wash is an amendment to D-Wash and it is named as one. D-Wash says "ONE band. Not the page, not the trust band, not a card", on the ground that a texture which spreads stops being quiet. The founder's decision of 2026-08-16 makes it two, and the amendment is narrower than it looks: the two bands that carry a picture are the two that ASK - one for money, one for the sign-up - and the seven that argue carry none. That is a rule with an edge to it rather than a licence, and the next block that wants a picture has to answer it.

Both ends fade, and the top one was added on 2026-08-16 because the first measurement of it was taken at one place. This page said a top fade would be an effect with nothing to do: the picture's first rows measured 241,241,232 in the light theme against a page ground of 238,243,244. That reading was true at the x it was taken at and false across the width. A watercolour is not one colour: sampled every 100px on the founder's pass over the page, the light theme stepped 238,243,244 to 227,234,222 at x=200, twenty-two units in the blue channel, and a step that size drawn straight across 1440px is a cut. The dark theme was nearly clean at 8 units, which is why nothing looked wrong in the theme the band was built in. The fade is --space-96, which is also where the sheet begins, so the picture is at full strength everywhere behind the message; re-measured after, the worst step across the edge is zero at all fourteen sample points in both themes. The hairline stays gone, because a line drawn across a picture is a line and not a boundary. At the FOOT the band meets the footer, which is --bg-surface in both themes, so the water dissolves into the footer's own paper over the last 120px and the page ends with no seam at all.

Paper on a picture takes the one elevation, which is the same finding the pricing cards recorded a day earlier: paper laid on a picture with nothing under it reads as a hole cut in the picture rather than as a sheet on top of it. --shadow is the product's only shadow and this is its second host on the landing.

The sheet lives inside the same query as the picture, and that is the sheet's whole reason for existing rather than a second decision. A sheet is what lifts a message off a picture; with no picture under it there is nothing to lift the message off, and the wrap is also the element that keeps this block clear of the screen edge - made a sheet on a phone it ran its rounded corners into the viewport, measured at 390. Below the tablet point the closing block is what it was: a centred column on the page ground, and the phone downloads no asset at all, because a background-image inside a query that does not match is never fetched.

The grey has the sheet and not the picture. Greyscale is the contract and a picture is styling, so _wf.css draws the same sheet on the same band at its own 760 point. One thing had to move with it: in that stylesheet the air of every band sits on the WRAP, and a sheet whose padding is the band's air has no padding of its own, so the band's air moved onto the section there.

Drawn by design/system/components/landing-final.css through ../system/index.css. It stands on the landing and its grey twin. The picture is --wash-final in tokens.css, two files on the system's own asset shelf, 34KB light and 22KB dark. Ground: docs/decisions.md, the entry of 2026-08-16. Registered in docs/inventory.md and in _nav.js, in the organism group. It hosts the button, the muted line with its inline link, and the hero's lead, each at the size its own file gives it.
