Customer Journey: To-Be
Emma's ideal path to the same job, inside Tendd. Each step traces to a concrete As-Is barrier and is reconciled with the already-locked structure. Target emotions are projected design goals, not measured.
The key result of this map: every To-Be step is covered by the already-locked structure (flows.md Flow A, the wireframes, D1 to D5); none contradicts it. The CJM validates that the built structure already covers Emma's As-Is pains, rather than surfacing a gap.
To-Be journey
The same trigger still brings Emma here; the difference starts at arrival. Where As-Is met her with a bank wall and lost her, To-Be shows value first, then inverts the friction pit into a gradual, paired-with-action reveal.
Projected curve
The To-Be curve is the projected inversion of the As-Is pit: it rises from cautious curiosity to relief and sustained calm. It is a designed target, not a measurement, so it is drawn dashed. The reveal peak is gated by the riskiest assumption H0.
The one thing not confirmed. Step 4's target emotion (relief and agency) is the projected payoff that the riskiest assumption H0 gates. It is designed to D1 but not validated with actual avoiders. The clickable-prototype test with 5 to 8 screened avoiders is the close (strategy.md section 5).
Backlog and MVP
This refines the existing MVP core (strategy.md D3, jtbd.md Part 5, CLAUDE.md), not a second parallel list. Priority is relative to this path: MVP means the reveal path breaks without it; LATER means the path works without it.

Risks and reconciliation
Reconciliation (the load-bearing result): every To-Be step is covered by the locked structure (Flow A, the wireframes, D1 to D5), and no step contradicts it. The CJM is the emotional cross-check that confirms the built IA and wireframes already cover Emma's As-Is pains.
Three most dangerous questions
Boundary note
The To-Be starts at "Arrive". What brings an avoider to Welcome is the same surprise-charge trigger from As-Is, which the product cannot create; it can only be ready when it happens. How an avoider is acquired is an AARRR Acquisition question outside the in-product journey.
