Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Sift. By creating an account or using the product, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy and Security and GDPR page.

The agreement

Sift provides a hosted product that ingests customer feedback and synthesizes it into themes, evidence, and briefs. These terms form the agreement between you, or the company you represent, and Sift. You are responsible for the accounts in your workspace and for the feedback data you import. Plans, seats, and limits are described at sign-up and in your account; the Free plan carries a monthly feedback limit.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Sift only for lawful purposes and only with feedback data you have the right to process. You will not:

• upload data you are not permitted to share,
• attempt to re-identify individuals from scrubbed feedback,
• resell or redistribute the service,
• probe, overload, or disrupt the platform.

We may suspend accounts that put customer data or the service at risk.

Liability

Sift is provided on a commercially reasonable basis. Synthesis is a decision aid: it surfaces themes and evidence to support your judgment, and every conclusion is traceable to its source so you can check it. To the extent the law allows, Sift is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited as set out in your plan or order. Final liability caps are confirmed with counsel before launch.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. When we make a material change, we update the date above and notify workspace owners. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
