What we collect, why we collect it, who else sees it, and how you get it back or have it deleted.

Draft for review. The structure, the headings and the dates are real, and the wording below is a first draft written from what this product has already decided rather than an operative term: it has not been through legal review and nothing here is in force. Where a fact is not settled yet, the section that needs it says so.
Last updated 18 August 2026Effective immediately for accounts opened from this date. Effective 18 October 2026 for accounts opened before it.What changed: this is the first version, so nothing changed and the date is the date it was published.Every later version keeps the one it replaced available.
A wallet address is not a name, and we do not try to turn it into one. We hold what an account needs to work and what the law requires us to keep, and the section below says which is which for every item. We do not sell any of it and we do not buy data about you from anyone else.
How resolution works

1. What this document decides

This says what we hold about you, why we hold it, who else sees it and what you can make us do with it. It covers the whole product: the events you read without an account, the account itself, and the money that moves through it.

The short version is that we hold what a betting account cannot work without, and nothing that only a marketing department would want. Every item below has a reason beside it, because a list with no reasons is a list nobody can argue with.

2. What we hold when you only browse

Browsing takes no account and we ask for nothing. Your browser sends an IP address to reach the site at all, and our servers keep it in a request log for 30 days to find abuse and outages. Nothing in that log is joined to a person.

We keep two things in your browser and neither identifies you: the theme you chose and your cookie answer. If you turn on the measurement group we also count which screens are reached and where a flow is abandoned. That is in the Cookie Policy in full.

3. What we hold once you open an account

When you confirm your first bet you sign in through Google, X or Apple. They give us your name, your email address and an account identifier. We never see your password and we never ask for one.

From then on we hold what the account is made of: your display name, your balance, every bet you place with its price and time, every resolution that paid or did not, and every deposit and withdrawal. That is the account. It cannot be shorter and still be an account you could audit.

We also hold anything you write in a comment, under the display name you chose.

4. What the wallet tells us, and what it does not

If you connect a wallet we hold its public address, because a withdrawal has to have somewhere to go and a deposit has to be recognised when it lands.

A public address is public. Anyone can read what it has done on-chain, including things it did before it ever reached us and things it does elsewhere. We do not go and look. We use it to send and to recognise, and we join nothing to it.

We never hold a private key, a seed phrase or a signing secret, and no part of this product will ever ask you for one.

5. What the card rail requires and the crypto rail does not

Adding funds by card requires identity checks. They are run by Transak, the on-ramp inside Add funds, and they hold your identity document. We receive the answer, not the document: pass or fail, and the country.

Adding funds from a crypto wallet requires none of that, and no part of the product will ask you for a document to do it.

This is the one place where a choice you make at deposit changes what exists about you, which is why it is a section rather than a line.

6. Why each thing is held

Your name and email are held to reach you about your account and about events you took a position on. Your bets, balance and payments are held because they are the account. Your IP is held for 30 days to find abuse. Your comments are held because you published them.

We hold nothing to build a profile of you and we do not sell or rent anything to anyone. There is no advertising in this product and no sponsored surface, so there is no purpose here that would need one.

Where a law requires us to keep a record longer than the reason above, the law wins and section 8 says how long.

7. Who else sees it

Four kinds of party see something. Your sign-in provider knows you signed in. Transak sees a card deposit and its identity check. The chain sees a deposit or withdrawal, because that is what a chain is. Our infrastructure providers hold the data at rest under contract and may not use it for anything of their own.

That is the list. Nobody else receives anything unless a law requires it, and where we can tell you that it happened, we will.

Your public profile shows your display name and your resolved record. It shows no balance, no open position and no email address.

8. Where it is stored and for how long

Data is stored in the European Union. Where a provider moves it outside, it moves under a transfer mechanism we can name, and it is named here before it is used. Which mechanism depends on where this service is established, and that is not settled yet: it is one of the three open facts the Terms name, and it is answered before the product accepts its first real payment.

Request logs are kept 30 days. Account and transaction records are kept seven years after the account closes, which is the shortest period the financial rules we expect to sit under allow. Comments stay while the event stays. Everything else is deleted when the reason for holding it ends.

A closed account is not a deleted account, and section 9 says what deletion does and does not reach.

9. What you can ask us to do

You can ask for a copy of everything we hold about you, in a form you can read and move. You can correct anything wrong. You can ask us to delete what is not covered by the seven-year rule above, and to stop any use you did not have to accept.

Write to legal@yonder.example and a person answers within five working days, and completes the request within one month.

Deleting an account does not delete the transaction record behind it. It removes your name, your email and your display name, and what stays is a record of bets that no longer names anybody. Comments you posted are anonymised rather than removed, because an event's argument is part of its record.

10. Cookies, and where the detail lives

The whole detail is in the Cookie Policy: which items are set, which can be refused, how long each lasts and how to change your answer.

The short version is two groups. One keeps the site working and your session secure and cannot be refused. One measures how the product is used and is off until you turn it on. There is no third group.

11. Who this product is not for

This product is not for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly hold anything about a child.

If you believe we hold something about someone under 18, write to the address above and we will delete it and close the account.

12. Changes to this policy

We change this policy by publishing a new version with a date. The date at the top of this page is the version you are reading, and the previous version stays reachable.

If a change widens what we hold or who sees it, we tell you before it takes effect rather than after, and a change never applies backwards to data already collected under the old reason.

13. How to reach us about this document

Write to legal@yonder.example for anything about this document or about the data behind your account. It is not product support and it is read by a person.

A reply is sent within five working days. If you are not satisfied with what we do, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live.

A question about this document goes to legal@yonder.example, which is not product support. A reply is sent within five working days.

Step 1 of 3

Pick an event you follow

Every event asks one question, with a date and a named source. You see the odds, the one-line why and how it resolves before you put in a cent.

Step 2 of 3

Back YES or NO

The odds are a live price set by what people bet. Your payout is fixed at the price you took, so being early and right is worth more. One dollar minimum.

Step 3 of 3

Get paid when it resolves

It resolves against the source it named, and what was read is published with the result. Until then your money is held 1:1, never lent and never moved.
